Hometown: Born in Santa Rosa, California … but have lived in the Yorba Linda area since 1964, so I consider it “home.”
My favorite products: Favorites are hard to narrow down! Bumble and bumble Wear and Care Mending is incredible!! The ONLY conditioning treatment I have EVER been able to use in my 42 years of hairdressing and it not make my hair flatter than what it is!
In Dermalogica I love Pre-Cleanse–it takes EVERYTHING off your face so that when you use your cleanser your face is really clean (it even took tar off my foot at the beach!). I also love the Lip Renewal Complex-never have dry lips!!
All the Jane Iredale is awesome! It is great to wear a makeup that is great for my skin and is light and natural looking. I REALLY love their brushes! They are the best I have ever used.
How I spend my time off: My time off (which is precious being a salon owner) is spent with family and close friends. I love to cook, entertain, read and travel. I also spend a lot of time networking for the salon and continuing my education as a salon owner/leader and stylist.
Why I chose this career: Because in high school I ALWAYS loved the latest in hair, makeup and clothing, and I love taking care of people and making them feel better about themselves.
My prized possessions: My Bible–the light to my path. Tom, my husband for 38 years; my two children; and my three granddaughters!
What inspires me: As a stylist I am inspired by our team, Bumble and bumble, art, fashion magazines, and by our clients. Personally, I am inspired by the one who has created us all!
